Rhea Plawat previously worked with the lab as an undergraduate researcher helping gain new insights into GBM metabolism to design improved patient-specific therapy. She graduated from UCLA ('21) with a B.S. in Neuroscience and joined the lab as an SRA. Her current work includes processing patient tumors to create and establish new mouse xenograft models, assessing tumor burden in mice, and working with the drug development team to test drug combinations in glioblastoma. When she's not found doing research, Rhea likes to read fiction novels, play the piano, and pet dogs.
