Daniela graduated from CSUN with a BA in Biology and is currently working at the Nathanson Lab as a research associate. Her work involves the development and maintenance of patient-derived orthotopic xenografts biobank. Specifically, she processes and purifies direct brain tumor tissue and performs intracranial implantations in mice. The in vitro and in vivo model systems she develops can then be used to study cancer biology and for preclinically drug testing. In her free time, Daniela enjoys skating, hiking, and generally surrounding herself with nature.
